Home / Commercial Cleaning / Post-Construction
Post-Construction Cleaning.
The clean between “finished” and “handed over”. Dust out of every surface, residue off every fitting, protective film and stickers off every pane.
Two Passes, Not One.
Construction dust settles twice. A single pass looks clean for about an hour, which is why the scope is built around two.
First pass — the bulk
- Debris and offcuts removed
- Dust from high level down
- Protective film and stickers off
- Paint and adhesive spots lifted
- Floors swept and vacuumed
- Ductwork and vent covers
Second pass — the finish
- Glass and frames polished
- Sanitaryware descaled and buffed
- Kitchen units inside and out
- Baseboards, sills and door frames
- Switch plates and sockets
- Final floor mop and inspection
Whoever Owns the Handover Date.
Contractors and builders
The last trade on site, timed so the client walks into a finished room rather than a dusty one.
Fit-out and refurbishment
Commercial fit-outs, store remodels and office refurbishments cleaned ready for occupation.
Homeowners after works
An extension, a new kitchen or a full renovation — the dust that got everywhere, taken out of everywhere.
Scoped Against Your Program.
1
Walk-through
We visit the site, measure the work and write down what “clean” means here — room by room, at what frequency.
2
Scope and flat rate
You get the scope document and one monthly figure against it. Nothing enters the schedule that is not on that page.
3
Cleaned and reported
The same crew works your site outside your operating hours, photographs the finish and reports to one named contact.
Book Us Last. Book Us Early.
Post-construction cleaning is the last job on site and the first one to get squeezed when a program slips. The way round that is to book the slot early and tell us honestly when the last trade is really out.
We would rather move a date than send a team to a site that is not ready. Tell us if it slips and we will re-plan — a half-finished site cleaned twice costs you more than a date moved once.
Add to the scope
- Dumpster or waste removal, quoted separately
- External windows at height
- Carpet and carpet extraction
- Sparkle clean before photography
- Second visit after snagging
Frequently Asked
After the last trade is off site. If the program is tight, we can do a first pass earlier and return for the finishing pass once snagging is complete.
We remove construction dust and loose debris as part of the clean. Skips and bulk waste removal are quoted separately.
Yes — film, stickers, adhesive residue and paint spots are all part of the scope.
Tell us before we set off and we will move the date at no cost. Cleaning a site twice because it was not ready is the most expensive way to do this.
